With all of my devices connected and the interface in thru mode I can play any one of the controllers and the midi signal is echoed to all other ports just fine. This worked worse than it did under win2k!!! Here's what happens.
PROBLEMS WITH MIDISPORT 2X2 DRIVER DRIVER
I then reinstalled the latest release driver (4116). I then uninstalled everything to do with the interfaces (using the uninstaller and windows remove programs/hardware). I then initially loaded the latest beta driver from their website because it seemed to have a lot of new features for XP. After being told by Midiman that I couldn't do what I wanted to do under Win2k I upgraded to XP.
I have 2 Midiman Midisport 8x8/s interfaces connected via USB to my PC which is a AMD XP2200+ with an MSI nVidia motherboard/chipset, etc.I have a MOTU 2408 mkIII hooked up and working fine with the system and Sonar 2.2XL. I have a total of 14 MIDI devices that I want to be able to use with my computer in both Sonar and Midiquest editor/librarion. I will refrain from saying anything negative about Midiman products until I give tech support one more chance to fix my problem.if that fails get ready for an earful! Here's what I've got.
